The mission of The ROCK is to take the message of Jesus Christ to the unsaved by loving God, loving each other, and serving the world.

Our Vision

The vision of The ROCK is to bring people to a personal saving relationship with Jesus Christ through the presentation of God's word and conviction of the Holy Spirit. Using prayer, relevant worship, and solid Biblical teaching, we will find ways to love God and grow spiritually. We will love and encourage each other by developing relationships with children, youth and adults through Bible studies and supportive programs. We will discover and help meet the needs of the community through real-world ministries such as the CORE program.

More About Us...

The ROCK formally came into existence in 2008 as result of 2 church ministries working together to see 3 things happen: people loving God, people loving others, and people serving the world.

The churches formally known as Faith Community and Findlay Evangelical Congregational began collaborative ministry in late 2006. After many months of working together on various outreaches and meeting together off and on, church leadership from both churches began to sense that God was doing something more profound within the individual churches than simply collaborative ministry. Together, ministry was more effective: more people were coming to faith in Jesus, greater personal fulfillment was felt and experienced by the membership, and there was a real sense that God was leading these 2 churches to combine for God’s purposes.

After praying for close to 8 months, both churches agreed that it was pleasing to God for the ministries to combine and form a new church, The ROCK. The new name represents what we believe is in the DNA of our mission and ministry: Reaching Others for Christ’s Kingdom.
